Reversi Mania Game
Aim of the Game: The goal of Reversi Mania is to own more pieces than your opponent by the time the game ends. You win by ensuring that your color dominates the board. The game concludes when neither player has any available moves left.
Basic Rules
Reversi pieces have two sides: one black and one white. Each turn, you place a piece on the board with your color facing up. However, there is a strategic element to placing your piece. You can only make a move if it flanks one or more of your opponent’s pieces between two of your own. Once placed, all of the opponent's pieces that are directly between your pieces will flip to your color, effectively capturing them.
- Flanking: To capture pieces, your newly placed piece must create a continuous line (in any direction) with one of your existing pieces, trapping your opponent’s pieces between them.
- Capturing: The opponent’s pieces can be captured along vertical, horizontal, and diagonal rows.
The Circles
Each available space on the board is marked with a circle. The numbers inside the circles indicate how many of your opponent’s pieces will be captured if you place your piece there. These circles also serve as visual guides to show the spaces where you can make valid moves.
Settings
Reversi Mania allows you to customize your gaming experience. Before the game begins, you can choose:
- Color Selection: Decide whether to play as black or white.
- Difficulty Level: Select the level of challenge by adjusting the difficulty of the computer-controlled opponent.
