Sea Battle Classic is a timeless version of the well-known naval strategy game. In this game, you play against an AI (artificial intelligence) opponent, either on a computer or smartphone. The game’s design mimics the nostalgic look of a paper grid, giving it a classic feel. The objective is simple yet strategic: sink your opponent’s entire fleet before they sink yours.
You have a variety of warships at your disposal, including an aircraft carrier, destroyer, missile cruiser, and battleship. Your challenge is to arrange these ships on your grid in a clever formation so that your opponent cannot easily predict their locations. Once the game begins, you take turns firing at the enemy’s fleet. The winner is the first to sink all of their opponent’s ships.
How to Play
- Step 1: Ship Placement: Start by arranging your 10 warships on the grid. Ships come in different sizes based on the number of decks they have. The largest ship is a five-deck aircraft carrier, while the smallest is a one-deck patrol boat. Place them strategically to outwit your opponent.
- Step 2: Take Turns Shooting: Once both players have placed their ships, you take turns guessing the location of enemy ships by firing shots. If you hit a ship, your turn continues until you miss. Hits are marked with a red cross, and when a ship is completely sunk, it is visually marked on the grid.
- Step 3: Winning the Game: The first player to sink all of their opponent’s ships wins the game.
Start at the easy difficulty to get the hang of the game, and as your skills improve, challenge yourself with the medium and hard difficulty levels. Test your strategic thinking and see if you can outsmart the AI in this classic game of naval warfare!
